Physical and Mental Health for Student Athletes
Like a good amount of my peers I play a sport at my college and this can really have an affect on you, it can directly affect how well your doing in classes and your health in college. When I first got up to college I struggled to find a balance between giving myself social time, resting time, school time and athletic time. As an athlete you always want to be putting work in even if you don't have practices simply because you want to be the best you can, but just focusing on athletics can lead you to have more trouble. If not doing well in school you risk the chance of not being able to play whatever sport it is that you play so its important to keep your studies a priority. A good way to do this is by adopting studying techniques and seeing what works best for you while also giving yourself enough time to work on homework and projects.
